Perla Ambrosini heads to Edinburgh Fringe with Ten Ways to Die Happy

Ten Ways to Die Happy poster featuring Perla Ambrosini, Underbelly Bristo Square, Edinburgh Fringe 2026

We’re delighted to share that Perla Ambrosini will be heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026 with Ten Ways to Die Happy, an innovative new participatory theatre experience playing at Underbelly Bristo Square throughout August.

Created by Emanuele Aldrovandi, Ten Ways to Die Happy invites ten audience members to step onto the stage and experience an entire lifetime over the course of an hour.

Those who take part are given flowers representing their energy and must decide, year by year, how to spend it — navigating choices around love, ambition, security and risk. Every decision creates new connections, encounters and conflicts, while the rest of the audience helps shape the world around them.

When the flowers run out, their life ends. The question is: can they find happiness before then?

With its combination of live performance, audience participation and constantly changing outcomes, each performance promises to be completely different from the last.

The production is presented by Sisifo Production, ERT - Emilia Romagna Teatro and Emanuele Aldrovandi, and will play a month-long run at one of the Edinburgh Fringe’s best-known venues.

We’re incredibly proud to see Perla joining the company and taking this distinctive production to Edinburgh, and we wish her and the entire team a fantastic Fringe.
